Brief Bio – John Michael Hollamby (DOB 17 June 1951)
John has been married to Adrienne for 50 years and has four adult sons and four grandchildren.
He retired in September 2009 after 40 years in the banking and finance industry. His last position was Head of Property Finance (Australia and New Zealand) at Lloyds International Australia, a subsidiary of the UK based Lloyds Banking Group Limited. He also spent long periods with Commonwealth Bank and ANZ prior to joining what became Lloyds International.
John’s previous Board roles include:
Non-Executive Director and Vice Chair of Graduate Careers Australia Limited (3/2011 to 10/2016).
President of HeartKids Qld Inc (2/2011 to 11/2013) and Non-Executive Director of HeartKids Australia Inc (11/2012 to 11/2013).
Member of the Corporate Advisory Board of Aizer Group Pty Ltd, a Gold Coast based building company, (7/2011 to 11/2014).
Advisory Committee Member of Downs & West Community Support from August 2014 to November 2021. Appointed Chair in September 2017.
Non-Executive Director of Sisters of Charity Community Care Limited from December 2019 to November 2021.
John is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Diploma Course (completed 2004) and resigned as a Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia in May 2019.
John has been a member of the St Vincent de Paul Society Qld since approximately 1975 (not continuous). He currently has the following roles within the Society:
